Is it just me, or is it really a little strange, that the boys do that trip in summer (the mother said, they had the rest of the summer, 'cause the middle boy had to go to school) but all bears are hibernating?!
I don't know the clime in the American mountains so well, but that there is alsmost deepest winter while the rest of the country's almost sweltering, that can't be true, can it?!

I think the Indian woman says something about the winter coming early when giving them directions. Also, its supposed to be mythical and somebody, I think, says something about how bears don't hibernate during this time or something. I think it was the bear attack-woman.
