I remember when this came out, thinking it resembled very closely a 3-part Dark Horse mini-series by the name "Virus". In the series there is a sort of techno-organic virus discovered on a boat. The comics were not very memorable. Does anyone know whether it was actually based on the Dark Horse mini-series?
shareAaaaand I'm dumb because a quick perusal around the boards tells me it was indeed based on the comic books. They nailed the design and the effects were good, the movie was just completely underwhelming. I saw it in the theatre when it came out, but I can't remember a single thing about it. I'm only on the board because I was randomly surfing, because I am high.
