yeah, still one of my alltime favorites.

I liked it. Kind of frantic and unhinged.

Not so much when I first watched it,but then it grew on me. How can you not like that ending when Sean Penn gets pushed off the cliff. How much bad luck can one guy have?

I thought it was a piece of junk - waste of good celluloid.

I normally like Ollie Stone, Nick Nolte, Sean Penn & Powers Boothe. The disguised Jon Voight couldn't save this one though. Even the score by the Saint, Ennio Morricone, sucked big time, just like K-mart and that kid actor in "The Sixth Sense's" Play within the movie.

There was not one redeeming quality in the protag, Bobby, nor any other character. The plot was just everything going wrong and everyone being an asshole.

Skip this one, if you still can, and see "Blood Simple," "Bad Day at Black Rock," or "Fargo". If you want to see Billy Bob Thornton at his finest, see season 1 of the TV series "Fargo."
