Yea he dies. I thought it was pretty obvious, remember all the talk in the beginning about people dying in the desert.
And he was shot and probably bleeding to death.
The last few shots in the movie are of Grace, Jake and Bobby, so it kinda implies that theyre all dead.
I don't think he dies actually....the whole movie is about how unfortunate he is and how he can't get out of Superior,so in the ending he stays there, there's no way for him to get out of it.Bad luck basically.
shareThe fact he had taken a couple of beatings in the movie, been shot & thrown of cliff before lying in the car motionless, not blinking, chest not moving indicated to me that he had died - especially since it tied in with other aspects of the movie.

I don't think so. He looks like Billy Bob, with his teeth knocked out, his face swollen - he flashes to BBT laughing at the car, the hose is busted again, and he starts laughing. I think he's stuck and we can realize that BBT got stuck in the town as well, years ago. The town *beep* with everybody who passes through.
shareDying, unless someone drives up and saves him
shareYes and it implies that he went to hell. Ironic since he says that you're only dead meat when you die.
