What a bizarre Oliver Stone film...
Am I the only person that feels like perhaps post-production was where all the magic happened?
It seems as though they went out and loosely filmed all the narrative points and then later spliced it together in order to create a coherent plot. Like all the raw improvisation came in post-production.
OR, Oliver Stone reached a height of mad genius and managed to pull off some of the best temporal micro-cuts that was never seen before or after this film in his career.
