Max's Behavior **spoilers**

There is a big indicator all through the film that things are not what they seem even under the original deception. Max (Sean) is WAY too cool about things. His lady, whom he's been in love with since they were kids, has supposedly been kidnapped and her finger cut off. Even if he'd been the one who set up the kidnapping, he should have been a basket case, but he's enjoying the poker game and laughing and such. And even when the twist leads you to believe that HE is the one with the gambling marker, he was still far too calm. I knew there was another twist coming.
