Digging up those slackers from the 90's.

I guess I was about the right age if I wanted to be a slacker around 1997. Maybe a little too old. Closing in on 30? I'm not about to do the math. I never had much interest in these "slacker" films. I can't remember if all slackers were such abrasive, easy-to-hate characters. I wish the shopkeeper killed all of them 15 minutes in. Roll credits! My memory must be foggy. Can anyone remember knowing any pinheads like this who hang out on street corners drinking beer all day dreaming of growing into the adult-child they long to be back in the 90's? I don't. And, can anyone confirm that you get an "honorable discharge" and a stipend for cutting off the tip of your finger if you're in the service? Ugh. I'm really down on this movie. It sucks.
