That's what I always thought but I saw a review where the commentator said she was kicked out.

I'm not sure about the book, but in the movie, they didn't really give any indication if she quit or was kicked out that I recall.

Uhhhh yeah, I thought that was pretty obvious. She’s the one who joined because she wanted to go into politics and you gotta be a citizen for that so there she was.

Not exactly like Rittenhouse. Rittenhouse was using his right to self defense while the recruit who shot Breckinridge showed poorly trigger discipline and negligence.
