I'm convinced that when guys say that a woman is hot they mean they would love to sleep with her and brag about it to their friends. Whereas when a guy says a woman is beautiful or attractive it means something deeper and that guy would likely introduce her to his mother. So I think Carmen is hot but Dizzy is beautiful.

Yeah, Carmen definitely is hotter, but she's not the type of woman you'd introduce to your mom. Your question is about them as characters, and she's less attractive to me. I mean she openly flirts with Xander in front of Rico during that football match. That's just trashy.

If we were talking about Denise Richards vs Dina Meyer than that's a different story. Denise Richards wins hands down.

Same thing happened with me with Luke Skywalker and Han Solo. Was totally in love with Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) when I was young and thought Han Solo (Harrison Ford) was homely looking. Then as I got older Han Solo was fine as fuck LOL.

yes id say they do multiple things that try to present her as a tom boy. she

1. played sports

2. joined the military (while not a man only profession, based off our context it tends to be more men)

3. wasnt grossed out by bugs unlike girly Carmen.

4. she's the chaser/ sexual aggressor with Rico

5. she's willing to fight the Sergeant physically

Her choosing her career over Johnny made her come off as cold and unsympathetic.

There's something about Denise Richards not to like, maybe's it's something superficial like her big mouth and eyebrows, don't know what it is but not many people care about Denise Richards at all, in the CG animated films Invasion and Traitor Of Mars Carmen she felt like a real woman of action and a captain, you don't get any of that with Denise Richards it feels like an actress playing an unlikeable role.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of personality there and she isn't a good actress. She looked good when younger but she was always bland. It's like she just expected to coast through on her looks. And in a town with lots of pretty women, looks aren't always enough.
