Future tactics #3

In the future when our Mobile Infantry disembarks from the landing craft onto the surface of an enemy planet we should train them not to continuously scream at the top of their lungs the moment the ramp comes down.

Since no enemy is in sight these ferocious battle cries serve no useful function. All the non-stop screaming will serve to alert the enemy to the arrival of our forces.

And the physiological effect of this constant maniacal yelling will cause immediate hyperventilation among the troops rendering them combat ineffective.

Future tactics #3.1

In the future after we have trained our troops to desist from useless screaming as they disembark from their landing craft (see Future tactics #3) we should training our Mobile Infantry to assume a military formation other than "mob".

Troops should be familiarized with the words "dispersal" and the military disadvantages of "clumps".

But it strikes FEAR into the hearts of the enemy!!!

Listen - "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"!!!
See - You're now very afraid of me!! 

The same enemy that somehow missed the big-ass spaceships in the sky and the dozens of drop-pods roaring down through the atmosphere?
If they didn't notice all that, a bunch of screaming little humans would be like Ninjas to them!!

If your troops are lying on the floor hyperventilating after a few quick screams, they are unfit and need a proper PTI!!

We do that already, but it rarely goes according to plan... usually because they are under incoming fire.

Troops should be familiarized with the words "dispersal" and the military disadvantages of "clumps".

What's the point when, as you say, there's no enemy present?
