Maybe the poor man's Aliens?
This thing is almost as goofy as Mars Attacks! or whatever that tim burton one with Jack Nicholson was.
Now, Total Recall and Robocop - those were cool!
As a movie it borrows some stuff from Aliens.
The story however is based on a book that was published in 1959, long before the idea of Alien was conceived.
For within each death there is always a new life, a new beginning - Dillon, Alien 3
On the aliens board it is mentioned that Cameron actually borrows a lot from Starship troopers
