I suppose there's been enough time for a remake. I just wonder about a new cast and how much action and violence a remake would have.

I'd already dig it double if the weapon handling and aiming would remotely look like they knew their stuff, plus the "armor" on the mgs not flapping around like flimsy plastic would be a plus.

It would be a remake of the bug war in a new image.
The political sub-text won't be touched on.

If it ushers in new video games I am happy.

The politics is the heart of the film. If they take that out it's just another scifi actioner.

If there is a remake, please be true to the book, and please have the powered armor. It's so badass I'd love to see it on the big screen.
