Dina Meyer and Denise Richards are both good-looking women in their own right, each in her own way.

Remember, though, too, that Dizzy as a woman, and the love triangle, is all Verhoven's invention. In the novel, Dizzy is a man, and he really is a minor character with virtually no backstory except that he is mortally wounded on a mission and Johnny Rico watches him die as they are evacuated. That event helps underscore the lesson learned in combat, that your friends die, and having all faced death together, you become brothers, in a way that no civilian can ever truly know.

I used to like Carmen more, but it's funny in the last ten years I've been a big fan of Dizzy.
