Sphere is a boring and deeply shallow movie and visual effects are lame as directing and when we watch Abyss movie in this category,this is a cutting edge movie in every field.

There's simply no comparison. The Abyss is a class act. Sphere on the other hand is a hobbled wannabe.

Sphere was a let down compared to Abyss

Completely different films. Odd comparison - abyss is awesome though

Such an odd comparison... basically describe Sphere to anyone who's never heard of it and 99 per-cent will say The Abyss.

Agree with OP. Also add the 10 year difference and Abyss coming out as better than Sphere.
