'I have the power to forget this movie!'

Any movie that has the audience groaning and changing body position whenever there is a new scene title displayed on the screen deserves to be labeled a dud. (That and having an 80 million production budget and only grossing 37 million domestically is another.)

One of the most boring films I ever had to sit through.

Best part of the film was the end at which someone stood up and loudly announced:

"I have the power to forget this movie!"

Brought the house down.

I agree. I've seen it twice, once when it came out and then later when it was on TBS or something. Not only is it boring, it doesn't answer any of the questions it presents. I don't get it, maybe other people do.

It does answer one question. What if we had the power to have our dreams come true? We'd be total idiots with it and everybody would die because we are emotional and irrational creatures.

Not saying the movie was great, but it did explore that question.

LOL!!!

If I've never seen it before, it's a new release to me!

It doesn't work. You don't realize that if you forget this movie... you will watch it again. 😂

Then it means it works.

This movie just seemed to be in such a big hurry for no reason. For instance, when the crew enters the spaceship for the first time, and they split into separate groups, there is a scene that suddenly shows the sphere for the first time. Why not show the audience the scene as they are approaching the sphere. Don' t just throw it out there. Also, the idea of a scientific team suddenly leaving a historic discovery doesn't make sense.

No idea why you'd complain about scene changes..it was how the novel was done.
