I just finished watching this movie once again and thought 'Man a prequel would be awesome right about now'.
They could tell us the story about the spaceship's trip and how they got the sphere, the sphere's origins and what happen to the crew.
I'd buy theater tickets for that movie ☺
Agreed! Although the sphere's origin doesn't answer any of my remaining questions and isn't pertinent to the story, it'd definitely make for a great premise for a sequel!
shareYes, there's been some big space movies the last couple of years that have done very well. Throw in a prequel/sequel of 'Sphere' I think it could hold up to the others in theaters if executed the right way.
shareI mean it's never going to happen because this film was such a flop, but I kind of agree with you. The lead-up story does have the potential to be quite an interesting film.🐭
