Are all 1990’s movies like this?

When watching this movie, I noticed that a lot of outside scenes have a yellow tint to them. I especially noticed this when they showed the outside view of the mall. And this doesn’t seem to be the case just for this movie - seems like a lot of 90’s movies have a slight yellow or orange tint to them. Anyone notice this?

Nope

Ahh, the infamous yellow filter. Many scenes took place in Corpus Christi and the Southwest. Here is an explanation: https://matadornetwork.com/read/yellow-filter-american-movies/

It's because RACISM!

“It’s upsetting. It goes hand in hand with how racist Westerners perceive these places and people, especially when you think about how vibrant and colorful these countries’ cultures actually are. Applying these filters plays into stereotypes about these places and the people who live there,” Sulymon, a business analyst from California, whose family is from India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, tells me.

Sounds as if this "Sulymon" person is an idiot.
