One Of My Biggest Inspirations
Selena is one of my biggest heroes and inspirations. Not only did she make fantasic music, but Selena also overcame a lot of barriers (language and gender, for example), and accomplished a lot in a short amount of time.
I was in the Army for 3 years (2009-2012). Needless to say, many people didn't want me to join because they didn't want anything to happen to me, blah blah blah. But then again, you don't have to be in the Army (or any branch of the military for that matter) for something bad to happen. Selena wasn't in the military, and we all know what her fate was.
Selena will always be one of my heroes.
