Possible Parole After 30 Years...
Yolanda Saldivar will be eligible for parole after serving at least 30 years in prison. I hope to God that doesn't happen; we sure as heck don't need her on the streets again.

shareIf she is released at that time, she will be about 65 years old. I hope they never let her out. Many times candidates for parole are not let out the first time and have to wait a couple years to petition for parole again. As far as I know, she's still segregated in prison to protect her from the inmates who hate her for what she did.
I don't think she's even capable of telling the truth about anything. Among other things, she lied to police, the hospital, and Selena when she said she'd been raped in Mexico. She lied about her family's finances. She had a weird obsessiveness about Selena and had a shrine to her in her apartment. Besides her more serious crimes, she's a dangerous, manipulative con artist.
If she does live long enough to go before a parole board, I hope they take into consideration the other crimes this woman committed. She was a serial embezzler as well as a murderer and IMO, is not capable of ever being a law abiding person. If she's paroled, she'd just be scamming someone else and then resorting to violence when they caught her.
Yeah, I did read somewhere that Yolanda's in solitary confinement because she gets threats from other inmates, as well as from the outside world.
Not only would this creep scam someone else if she got paroled, but think about what people would do to her. If Yolanda's kept in solitary confinement there in prison for her own safety, then what sense would it make to grant her parole?
Plus, if Yolanda was paroled, how would that be fair and just for Selena's family, friends, and fans?
I've often wondered that myself.
