- Both singers and songwriters of hispanic ethnicity
- Of similar age (within 5 yrs)
- Both lived in TX (I've only visited Corpus)
- Both love performing live
- Both love animals
- Both love pizza (like who doesn't)
- Both lived with Jehovah's witnesses

-We both had surgery, though I believe hers was a little different. (And for those of you who don't believe, it is actually true. There are pictures of her in crutches. She had a leg complex, meaning she had a lot insect bites and the more she scratched them, I guess the more they got swollen up. So one of her thighs was bigger than the other)
-She didn't think of herself as sexy. I never liked being referred to that term, but rather have 'gorgeous' 'beautiful' that sort of thing
-She liked shopping at Wal-Mart, I do to. It has everything I need, though the service sucks
- We both needed additional eye care. I wear glasses, she wore eye contacts (not sure if it was all the time)
