You know, what? I was just thinking about the EXACT thing just days ago. It's funny how he raised hell when Chris and Selena got close with each other, even went as far as saying that Chris is like a "cancer" to his family. He was so worried that Chris was going to ruin Selena's life. Yet, his BIGGEST mistake was allowing Yolanda, a random stranger, to start a fanclub and get close to Selena and took AWAY her life. The biggest irony of this story!
I've read that Yolanda had also approached Shelly Lares and her family, another Tejano singer, to start a fan club, but Shelly's father had turned Yolanda down because they strictly wanted ONLY family members to be working close to Shelly. I really wish that Selena's father would have done the same thing and apply the same "Family Only" principal, and Selena would have still be here with us. That would have been the WISEST thing to do.
