O&A fans are so unoriginal. The whole "hoo hoo" thing got really old 2 weeks after they started calling Howard that. Once Stern leaves radio and the industry thrusts O&A into the limelight, those two clowns will sell out so f*&king quick there head will spin.

O&A seem to hate Stern because as arogant as he can be, he is right. O&A would not be doing what they are doing if Stern did break down all the barriers 20 years ago.

I personally like them both and listen to both shows, O&A just spend too much time bashing Stern and really having nothing to say. Anthony does the same friggin impression of Stern every time. "HOO HOO tell'em Fred"

jim norton is in his early 30's and opie is in his mid 30's. none of them got plastic surgery, unlike howard stern. Nose job, face lift, hair plugs & he dyes his hair every *beep* week. how can you listen to such a fake hollywood *beep* like howard stern? free speech my ass.

They spend the last 4 years bashing Infinity and it's management and what do they do, they enter talks to fill DLR spot in the mornings when Dave get's fired. I do not know how much truth there is to that rumor. At least Stern had the decentcy to tell NBC to go screw after they fired him in the 80's

I used to listen to Stern every day before school, but that ended fast as i went into teh service and Stern went Sattelite while i was in Kuwait.... it's a shame really, but i'd ratehr wait to get Sirius than have to put up with O&A... they seem like they are trying to feed off teh 'Shock Jock' theme that Stern refined....

is stern toast? since he moved to satellite i haven't heard one thing about him. are his fans really gonna pay to listen to 25 year old lesbian jokes and hear the f word? i will admit he had a funny tv show in NY in the '80s (not the dreadful saturday night show which cbs mercifully axed after 3 seasons ).with all restrictions lifted off him , i predict he will fizzle out sooner rather than later.

I have Sirius. He is funnier in the sense that he can discuss whatever he wants. He's been on for about 3 months now and he seems to have dropped the constant everyday parade of pornstars and strippers, although they do make an appearance maybe twice a month or so. There is more interaction with the crew members and Artie seems to be much funnier unedited. I thought I would never say that before because I missed Jackie Marting, but Artie isn't that bad. On the 03/23, he had Dice Clay on for the first time in 8 years and it was old times. They made up and spend an hour ripping apart Opie and Anthony. It's pretty cool. I like Sirius.

Damn, I wish I could've heard that show, JerseyKid75! I'm glad Dice and Howard made up. They're funnier together ragging on somebody else, than they are ragging on each other.

I can't believe I stumbled across this. This movie came out almost 10 years ago and you Stern-bashing losers are so obsessed with him you stil have a thread running? Every time an O&A fan mentions Stern you're just proving that without Stern, O&A would not only have never existed, they'd have no current material. I've honestly tried, really really tried to listen to O&A and I just couldn't do it. So unfunny and forced. Please, if you want O&A to ever get out from under Stern's shadow do them a favor and stop associating them with Stern by doing silly things like this.

I have to give O&A credit. They invented 2 things.

1)A boring, unoriginal zoo radio show. WOW-that is the epitome of a zoo radio thing.

2)The most pathetic fans on earth. I've seen numerous pictures of these "pests" (douchebags is a more fitting title). I have yet to see one who looks like they earn a good living,live on their own and actually get laid.

Yeah, I used to listen to O&A when they were on WNEW. Then thier act was fresh and it has gotten so stale and forced. They are not natural on the air any more and they are not being themselves. That stupid affect they put on thier voices especially Norton and Anthony I mean they cant even say anything anymore without that stupid affect. CBS Radio will fire them soon because thier ratings have only been marginally better then Roth's. Anthony is the only one with any talent at all.

They SCREWED thier fans by going to CBS. Why pay for XM when you can get them for free, ohh thats right, noone bought XM for them anyway.

I'm a Stern fan from way back, but Opie and Anthony have had some very funny moments, too. I used to listen to them back when they were on WNEW in the evenings and the Mike Tyson bits, along with the bits of Jay Mohr imitating Christopher Walken used to make me pee myself laughing.

Why can't somebody like both shows with respect to both?

Am I the only one who realizes that this is just a message board on imdb and no one cares about any of our opinions. By the way im 19 and I am an ona fan but Ive never heard howard sterns show it might be good but I dont know, im to young and live in a an area that gets neither show, the only reason I like ona is because I heard them first in 2004 when I got my xm, I tried sirius but the programing sucks and the unit I had kept crapping out every time I went downtown and I live in Columbus Ga not that many reasons for it to not get good reception and they turned off my subsciption and billed me for 2 *beep* MONTHS after i had the piece of junk turned off.

Kidd Chris is indeed excellent radio. He's got fresh bits, and a really mean edge to him. He's now in Pittsburgh too, which is kind of funny because he blatantly taunts the people who live there for being hicks, haha.

Seriously, it's free online. Any of you in this little war over radio programs should check his show out. It's just a shame they had to fire Open Mike. :(

I love opie and anthony but i hate all there fans(pests) all make fun of stern all you want, but you know he's responsible for tuns of *beep* in radio, and you think o and a will always be what they are now? all underground , they'll def sell out one of these days too. I love stern as well, o and a have talent and dont rip off stern. Stern def influenced them though cuz they even admit that. I just hate the way all you hate stern cuz of somethign he did to o and a like you take it personaly yourself? grow up.

Im sorry, but O&A DO rip off Stern. I used to listen to both shows, but O&A have gotten so stale. All they do is talk with that stupid affect on thier voice like they are 14 years old making fun of thier sunday school teacher in the back of the room. I also loved when they had the guy from the NY Post on to basically say Stern had him fired. I always laugh when O&A make fun of Stern. ITs so pathetic how far O&A's stock has fallen over the last 3 years. What used to be an original edgy and funny show has become 2 bitter middle aged men who cant even improve DLR's ratings. Whats more sad is, they think that if they bash Stern it somehow angers Stern and his fans. That is the saddest most pathetic thing about them. Free FM and all of terrestrial radio will be like UHF in 5 years.

O&A are getting thier tail kicked in almost every market they are in, and in NY spanish language stations kick thier ass. On top of all of this, O&A shill useless merchandise to the few fans they have left , they whored themselves out to Free FM, they screwed the 35,000 fans that bought XM to hear them.

It must suck to be 2nd best to stern all the time. Acutally i dont even know if O&A are 2nd? And what a slap in the face to all the people who paid for XM to get O&A (all 15 of you) and then they go and put it on free radio 2 years later. Then they have the nerve to sit there and complain that they cant swear when they are on FM. And there show sounds strangely like sterns old show IE...Complaining to Tom about this and that, and becoming freinds with Imus? are you kidding me? hes a real powerhouse in the radio industry. I used to enjoy them but now all there show is whenever i turn it on, is rippng on stern, or playing clips from stern. I have sirius, so i dont need to hear stern on the other channels after i already listened to it. Bottom line, there lame any more and there 15 min. is up. Howard invented a lot of stuff but he didnt invent failing on the radio.

Back when O&a were on FM in the afternoons i used to listen every day, Anthony is the funny one, i never cared for opie really, but anthony with his Tyson, Celine Dion, Chuck heston etc impressins used to have me on the floor rolling. Especially when they did the Home shopping guy don west, oh man that was great. I dont know what happened. i guess after having off them 2 years they got unfunny. Opie and Unfunny!!

No matter what they say, deep down inside they always know O&A are just weak impersonations of the "King of All Media."

The pimply faced morons who comprise the vast majority of the O&A listening audience hate that, but it will NEVER change. Stop with the whole "stealing a bit" crap. everyone says someone else stole a bit and everyone says they listened to the other person first. If you actually listened you'd stop saying "all they talk about is stern", but its good that you have to lie to yourself to feel better.
The only time they have talked about stern in recent memory was when opie was pissed off at Trump for being an ass. The fact is, they are always being compared to stern (and justfully so, if you listened you'd know they dont deny he revolutionized radio) so they have to speak up.
And on the topic of Jim Norton, i'll admit, compared to Artie, he does have a dead end job. I mean, Beer league was a hit, and so was dirty work. its not norton that gets HBO specials, its Artie. you showed me.

Beer League didnt kill anywhere. Norton is filming his second special and lucky louie as one of the highest rated shows on HBO (why it got cancelled remains a mystery). Im completely willing to admit that the best part of either show is the comedian (artie AND norton), i just feel that norton and anthony (Opie is a dick bag who should be run over by a million truks)work extremely well off of eachother while Artie seems to be a somewhat uniquely funny mind on Stern's show.
your right that Artie isn't a hack, and if i said he was (im too lazy to go back and look) i was just being an ass. I'm also sick of this fight so i'll leave you with this; Stern ABSOLUTLY revolutionized radio, and too deny that is just stupidity. He has simply gotten repetative to me. if you think he's funny, than listen to him by all means, but liking him doesn't mean you have to say O and A suck everytime they come up.
PLEASE NOTE: i have no problem with people trashing Opie. He's an unfunny ass.
I think both shows need to get over themselves and learn to acknowledge when eachother do something original and funny.

i download Howard Stern Show on Sirius/XM and have kept uptodate for a few years now

There is a big Howard fanbase here in england (a country 1000s of miles away from you) who keep uptodate with the show

PS. Who is Opie & Afony? are they local radio DJs? never ever heard of them, except on here,

maybe they have a movie coming out like Private Parts??

Yea, the rose to fame a while back, but have since lost most of it. They're shock jocks, but not your typical ones. They had talent and I liked their show, but they moved to mornings and soon after I didn't really find them funny.

I used to be the biggest Stern fan. I've actually preferred O&A since '98, but whatever. I don't care who anyone else listens to. These "radio wars" that exist only between the fans have always seemed so stupid to me. It's more ridiculous than sports rivalries.
