Howard was wrong!

The scene at the end of the movie where the broad was naked and the engineer plays the music and turns off the show, Howard comes in and says that the engineer should not listen to Kenny, only to Howard. Sorry, Howard was wrong. Kenny was the engineer's boss, not Howard. Unless Howard is signing the engineer's check, he was right to listen to Kenny. He was an everyday working man who probably depended on Kenny signing his check so Kenny was the one to listen to, not Howard.

Yea, but that guy was not a member of Stern's team, so his job I bet was not as protected as those three. Just an observation.

well Howard was also yelling at pig vomit during the office fight scene "i'm your boss"

we know it's not literal but everyone in that company should be protecting and looking out for the man who's making it all happen

i'm sure everyone in the CBS building jumps when Letterman says something even though he's not signing all their checks

First of all the whole point was Scott the Engineer was part of the revolution that was howard stern and his show. He is still a huge part of the show on serius radio now. It wasn't a matter of him signing checks because he signed nobodys checks. It was being part of what was becoming the best radio entertainment show on the planet with millions of subscribers. Take it as literal as you want but that's why he was so pissed at Scott

Scott the Engineer didn't work at WNBC. Scott became Howard's engineer at WXRK. The actor who played the engineer in that scene did kinda look like Scott but he wasn't meant to portray Scott specifically. Otherwise, they could have just had Scott in the movie like the rest of the gang.
