The US dvd is cut
Anyone else notice that the US dvd version of "Nil By Mouth" is cut by about 8 minutes, possibly more? Anyone know what scenes were cut for US release?
shareIt actually isnt....my dvd says it's 119 mins but the movie actually played for 125 or so....unless there is one or two big scenes cut out or something...

Thanks for the info about the US dvd! That explains the time difference between the two versions. I would be a shame to cut anything from this great film!
shareI may be smoking crack here...but there may be a time diff based on pal vs ntsc. In theory one plays at near 50hz, the other at 60hz. But I thought I remembered something about over the course of a long movie, i.e. 2 hours.. there is a slight time diff.
Am I on crack or does anyone know something about this?
It's nothing to do with the scan frequency, it's the frame rate, but yeah you're essentially right.
