did anyone else find the scene when Billy and Danny are being chased by the madman with the knife and they run into the laundrette and they find out the guy doesnt have a back door and Billy is walking around with really scared and screams in frustration "why havent you got a *beep* back *beep* mug" hilarious the way he desperately shouts it is brilliant top notch acting you felt his frustration, desperaty and anger flowing from him..utter brilliance couldnt stop myself laughing

As a film as brilliantly oppressive as this is, there are certainly some amusing scenes. I especially like the scene right at the start when Mark talks about the orgy he attended, as well as when he recounts the tale of a bloke he once knew who has an enormous head; the size of "..a fackin' armchair".

Also, when Ray confronts Janet after he brutalizes Val. Althohugh this is one of the most intense and furious scenes in the whole film, I love the old bloke sticking his head out of the window telling them to keep the noise down.
