what was ray drinking...

i noticed a couple of times that he had a half a pint of something and then a pint of lager, but i dont know what the half of pint was :S curious is all.

if you can help greatly appreciated :D

I imagine it was some sort of spirit chaser, probably a large one which is why it was in a big glass.

In the opening scene in the bar, he orders three pints of lager, three vodka tonics and "a drop of scotch". That's what he appeared to be swigging, although I wish my local served scotch in such generous drops.
