I've got this "habit" lately that I read reviews here on IMDB for movies I already like... Most of those reviews are shockingly misleading, wrong, senseless, bumptious, personal and totally UNFAIR...

"My Best Friend's Wedding" Is one of the greatest romantic comedies ever in my opinion. I wish there are more mature funny movies like this these days... and like MANY other good movies (Especially in the comedy genre) it has terrible reviews on the net in general...

Why most people can't appreciate thoughtful comedy movies??

It doesn't matter... Don't read reviews.... most of the reviewers are LOSERS.... (with respect to few objective ones).

Let all the hate flows....

no hate here,brother.
MBFW is one of my favorite movies-- EVER! I love how smart and funny and romantic and sad and just awesome it is. I can watch it twice a day and not get tired of it.

I don't really read reviews about movies if I can help it because everyone doesn't like the same movies that I like and everyone doesn't appreciate the same things in a movie that I do.

That is why I refuse to read so-called critics' reviews. Who are they anyway? Half the time their reviews make me wonder if we even saw the same movie. I almost never agree with what they have to say, so why should I listen to them and not see a movie they hate, or see a movie they love? As has already been said, everyone likes different things, so take the reviews with a grain of salt if you do read them.
