Julia Robert's Character is Legit Cray in this movie

Anyone else think that she was a total nutcase?

She sent that email... She begs her "best friend" to pick her, choose her, love her, and kisses him right before his wedding. And when he clearly chooses his fiance, she runs across the grounds screaming his name and steals a bread truck and tails him into the city!

I kept telling my friend that the last half hour of the movie should have turned into a suspense thriller and really upped the ante.

Well she admits herself near the end of the film she is the "villain" of the piece. But this is a rom-com, so she is a really "nice" villain.🐭

Saw this at the theater in 97 with my then girlfriend, (now wife). I kept turning to her as the movie went on saying I would be angry if he ended up with Jules. How terrible would it be to have that kind of crazy manipulation rewarded.
