Julia Robert was a bitch in this movie.
I was so glad he married Kimmi :)
shareYou're kinda stating the obvious. She admits herself near the end of the film, she is the villain of the piece. But this is a Julia Roberts rom-com where she is a really "nice" villain and everyone ends up living happily ever after.🐭
shareWell, that's a given. But yes, she was selfish, I concur. She may not personally like Kimmy, and that's fine. But she needs to least respect and support her friend Michael. Michael never promised he'd marry her no matter what. He actually promised that he would marry her IF and only if...neither had met someone by age 28. But, he did meet someone, and that was Kimmy.
shareShe was also really stuck up and judgmental. She thought she was above Kimmy and her family simply because they were bougie. She was so uptight!
shareYes, it's really an anti-hero movie, with a redemption at the end.
