Extremely underrated

What's wrong with this movie? I don't get it. I've loved it since I was a kid and I still find it hilarious today. I've read a few reviews and they all make points that are, to me, completely wrong and opposite from what's actually in the movie. Poor performances by Lane and Evans? They're fantastic! The chemistry between the two is awesome and they're both great at the expressions and sight gags. It's all great physical comedy.

One review (http://www.imdb.com/Reviews/102/10283) compared the movie to Home Alone... What the hell? The mouse is Macaulay Culkin's character? How? What? STFU.

And, overall, I just don't get how this movie was found to be unfunny by so many critics.

I agree that this movie is greatly underrated and somewhat under-appreciated.
It's a great little comedy and all the actors, including the mouse, are very funny and endearing.

There are so many hilarious scenes, it's hard to pick my favorite. I've seen "Mouse Hunt" about 15 times since it was released, and it's just as funny now as it was the first time I saw it.

Too bad they didn't make a sequel!! It would have been a breath of fresh air compared to alot of crap sequels that keep being made. (of course it would absolutely need Nathan Lane and Lee Evans to reprise their roles)

I agree completely. This is the best comedy I've ever seen in my life, and I watched it many times. I just can't get how it's almost never talked about! I mean, hello, they're too busy admiring Big Momma's House -pffft!

Sorry, gave it another chance last night and it's still terrible. Under funny and overdone. The mouse is cute but the humans are not interesting. Catzilla is good for a laugh, and Christopher Walken livesn this up for a minute or two. Other than that it's one long, hard slog to the ending.
