Sonya and Liu Kang aren't wearing the same outfits from the last movie

At the end of MK1, Liu Kang is wearing a dirty, stained muscle shirt, while Sonya is wearing a brown robe over the leather slut outfit Shang Tsung stuffed her into. Yet at the beginning of Annihilation, Liu has a brand new, pristine shirt, and Sonya's wearing shorts, brown hiking boots, and a white muscle shirt.

Did they think I wouldn't notice!?

Johnny Cage's sunnies were crushed by Goro but then at the start of this he has them.

He had an assload of luggage on the island. I wouldn't be surprised if he had an entire bag of sunglasses.

Yeah but he didn't have his sunnies on at the end of MK. At the start of MK:A hwe takes them off. So Johnny puts them on and takes them off seconds later. O....K

They might have been in his pocket. Annihilation doesn't start at the exact moment the last movie ends.
