Title of song in Apocalypse Maybe (sample merger) scene?

It's the instrumental song, considerably slow tempo, with pretty simple instrumentation including or consisting of electric guitar, drums...that's all I can think of.

The scene is where Jax and Liu and everyone get transported to this uncertainly temporary merging of the two realms in which you see the bridge floating as it carries one or two cars with skeletons laying on the hood. And lightning, if I recall, is some what present off and on.

And to give you a real good idea of what scene I'm talking about; it's the one in which Jax makes the comment that "he feels like a microwave"...cold on the outside and warm on the inside.

The song in question is, as I recall not featured for long in the scene.
It's not included on the soundtrack.
And the volume on the song is a background appropriate level as opposed to say, Genius by Pitchshifter, when being used to score Sonya versus Mileena.

What's the title of the song in question and the name of its band?

And if possible, what album by the band is the song in question from?

reply

Dude there's NO music when jax says that line. But you may be thinking of the instrumental when Jax fights Motaro. That song is called "9D Galactic Center" its not on the soundtrack. Look it up on YOutube.

reply

Oh yeah, okay-I uh...confused a couple of scenes in to a mish mash in my memory.
The scene with the floating bridge holding the charred corpses and cars is somewhere else.

But the scene with the piece of music I mentioned is, as I saw it again, 52:23 in to the movie and it's briefer than I remembered. The song is briefer than I remembered. And one piece of instrumentation I forgot about is a lone female voice with no words and just a vocal line of three or four notes and it sounds like a very soft wail or in other words an open-mouthed hum.

The short scene/short usage of the song in question happens right before we see Sindel off in the background letting out a fair shriek (Higher by Alien Factory is playing).

reply

i finally heard it. why are you so desperate to find out the track?

reply

Well, because it's a good piece of music.

I'm thinking that perhaps this song in question might be Shreddd or Shredded by Urban Voodoo, but I can't find the song any where on the internet to listen to it.

Do you know what this song is?

reply

No, I dont know. But yes its probably called Shredd, but Urban Voodoo never released it, it's not on the only CD they have released.
