"Im religious and I have no problem believing in extraterrestrial life; If God created us, why couldn't he of created other worlds? It makes sense to me."
Same here. I don't have much of a problem thinking about the possibility of alien life-forms.
I had read somewhere about how the Bible contains records of encounters with extraterrestrials, a major example being Ezekiel's meeting with God, the winged-seraphs, and a strange wheel-thingy. Then there's the story about the sons of God and the Nephilim. This may not be flying saucers or little green men, but if angels were not created on Earth but in heaven, aren't they by definition, considered to be aliens to humans? Couldn't God, by definition of 'alien', also be considered as an alien-like being? I'm going strictly by the definition of 'alien' rather than the popular media's idea of flying saucers, anal probes, etc.
