I've never read any of the Men in Black comics the movies are based on but I've heard they're more serious and darker in tone, is this true and for those that have actually read them would you recommend them? Just curious.

Probably not. They seem to be rare. I could only find one issue of it on amazon. I just looked on ebay and couldn't find a stinking thing.
Ediit: I just found 3 graphic novels of it on ebay but it was too horrendously expensive. It was an auction and the price was $80. Probably the price maybe $200 by the time it ends.
