If you blink while being neuralyzed, does that mean it won't work?
shareHmm...I don't think so. They never made that a gag in any of the 3 films. It is a pretty bright flash so it's possible it'd still work. Thus one reason why they put the glasses on. You know that would make an interesting twist if they revealed it didn't work if they blinked, so if a plot required it, a character could be undercover pretending to be clueless again. If that's not thinking too much!

Plus, they would neuralize large groups of people at a time. Surely there would be someone in the crowd blinking, sneezing or looking away at that point. Since they didn't seem concerned that someone would avoid the process, we have to assume that the special glasses were the only way to avoid being neuralized.
