I'm surprised that no one has argued about the sequel. Come to find out there were references more than 2 years old. I only heard about it a few days ago with a pic of Tyler Perry attached to it.

It would be a huge mistake for ANY director to do a sequel for this cult classic. Expectations are too high.

When and where did you see a sequel? If anyone other than all original cast members and director is not involved, I wants no parts of it!

Should've been made a sequel to this movie.

"I am the ultimate badass, you do not wanna `*beep*` wit' me!" Hudson in Aliens.

I think they should leave the story as it is. It makes the story more real. Real love is never tied up so easily so the "Open" ending works wonderfully, we can all use our imaginations and make our own ending for these two wonderful characters.

The sequel wasn't filmed. It has been referenced that the idea of a sequel was in question. More recently, I saw the same for the Best Man. There are pictures with the entire cast taken from 2011 or 2012.
