So he had to make things right???

Spoilers ahead

So Darius had to make things right at the end? What a stupid thing was that. I mean, it was her who didnt trust him. That's why they broke up. And then he has to make things right. What a stupidity.

You see him being affraid of losing the love of his life... What's up with that? Didn't she feel like that??? This movie made me SO MAD!!!

It was HER who had to crawl back to him, saying she DID trust him completely. But no, she left for her new job and he had to chase HER. Stupid.

I think the point of the movie was he got to see how she still felt for him after a whole year when she was on stage reading the poem about him. He wasn't perfect, I mean actually accepting the call from some other chick at like 5am isn't very respectful of him. I think they both knew that they made mistakes, both of them played games, but when it came down to it, they knew that even after a year, no one else compared and they were meant to be together. We don't know if she left her job in NY or if he chased her to NY, the movie doesn't answer those questions. I wish there was a sequel to the movie, but I can see why there isn't one.

If you notice, brotherman, Nina *came back* to The Sanctuary ... her actions provided a symbolic apology ... which is why Darius went after her after her performance.

That's how I looked at it.

It wasn't just that Nina didn't trust Darius. The breakdown of their relationship the second time around involved Darius' bad behavior as well. After Nina and Darius breakup, he admits to a friend that he can't stand to be around a girlfriend for more than a few hours at a time. And we see evidence of this, in the prior scenes... as their relationship grows, we're witnessing them spend more casual time together: reading, writing, etc. and we witness his annoyances with her, shooing Nina off when she offers him a beer, he doesn't wanting to talk about things important to her, or about things she needs closure on (Wood) etc. Nina's growing mistrust of Darius is directly correlated to his lack of effort and consideration shown to her. So his attitude can be seen as just as detrimental to the relationship as hers.

Lol I think you're bitter for your interpretation being so one sided. They were both wrong throughout the movie. It was about making mistakes and making them right. In general.
