I am all for it! This is one of my romantic favorite movies. Hopefully its executed correctly if they do make this sequel

I think the original director will be involved if so. But I can see your disconnect because I love thus movie as well. The Best man 2 came together pretty well so let's see how this one does if they go through with it

A sequel would be terrible just like the Best Man Holiday.

The dorector said last year it ain't happening. This film does not need a sequel!

Ruin is a gift. Ruin is the road to transformation (Eat, Pray, Love)

I wish Mr Witcher - or somebody - would make more films like this, then. Because we need them! This film is a classic but it's just a drop in the bucket. I can't believe there aren't a bunch more like it hasn't been made starring African-Americans. We had a handful in the 90's then...what happened???

I wish he would do more, myself! This was his only film. Somebody needs to fund his next film.

I don't think it needs a sequel either--it's fine the way it is. It's a shame the director never made another film, but at least he can say he made a genuine classic romantic (and realistic) film that's cherished by those who saw it when it came out back in the day (like myself) and I've got it on DVD, as well as the soundtrack, which I'd definitely recommend, even to people who haven't seen the film.

There's also a play called LOVE JONES:THE MUSICAL that's currently touring---forgot who's in it,though.

I just saw the musical last night and it was terrible!!! It was everything the movie wasn't. I don't know who was involved in making this a musical in the first place, but this was a shameless attempt to write a crappy play and call it Love Jones
