I've never seen this film and have zero interest because it looks insanely bad and derivative.

Really? Because every time I see you post, you are complaining about movies you don’t like. Hell, you hate this one just because of the poster.

This is a good movie. It's got action and suspense. And a pretty memorable bad guy.

It looks like the cover of a cheap romance novel from the '70s. A noir-ish early '50s style poster would have been great.

I agree with you. The poster isn't retro enough for a film set in the 1950s. There is an iconic 1950s poster for the 'Play Rough' pulp book. A woman's body in profile similarly dressed to Kim Basinger on this poster but on a darkened street. Something similar to that would have looked good.

You'll miss out on a lot of good movies if you base them on the poster.
