Bathroom scene
I just saw this clip online but I haven't seen the film. I don't really have any desire to either, but why was the dude freaking out after he showed his before weaver came through the door. What was going on there.

shareSandy didn't show anything, he simply freaked out and panicked sexually. If that's the single clip you've seen, you don't have any feel for the movie. It's the best movie of 1997 in my opinion.
shareSee the film.
shareThe OP is a high school student. Forgive him

I didn't know what to think of Sandy? Special needs, reclusive, Aspergers syndrome? I think he went to school but other than that he only left the house to blow up a few things. They didn't really address his lack of socialization.
~ His brother told "Charles" Sandy loved her. That didn't mean he wanted to do anything with her as he apparently didn't make any moves in bed either.
I didn't get the impression he 'freaked out' and changed his mind, I think he was jealous of the relationship she had with his brother and wanted to get her in trouble.
shareLater in the movie Ricci's character asks Sandy if he's ever had a nocturnal emission after a "sexy dream." He replies no, which means he's probably never ejaculated up to that point, and given the lack of openness between parents and kids about sexuality shown in the movie, he probably never had experienced such feelings before and didn't know how to interpret them. He was just freaked out and did what most kids would do, call to their mother. I first saw this when I was like 15 and even then I was slightly intimidated by Ricci's hyperactive sexuality, so who can imagine how an 11 or 12 year old loner with no sexual experience would feel.
