a deleted scene from the Criterion Collection DVD shows her moving around while passed out. I'd have liked the film better if this were included as it would convince the audience she is alive (some may not notice that she is breathing in the other scene) and that maguire's character isn't so irresponsible.
I would have given this film a lot more stars if the sex and drugs plot elements were not in it.

Where were YOU in 1973? Were you even born then? I was 16, and found the characters, costumes, and subject matter spot on.

No, I think she just passed out like the football guy. I have the feeling he thought, "Hey, I can give this girl a feel now." but decided against it because good sense prevailed.
