Seeing some of the film again on TV last night, I caught this: Tobey's character is reading a Fantastic Four comic book on the train while waiting for it to work again. Now, what comic company makes FF? Marvel, who also does Spider-Man, starring Tobey Maguire!!!!! I guess they didn't know he'd be doing that character several years later.

I just saw in the trivia section that he was reading Spider Man on the train, not Fantastic Four, in the book. Maybe they couldn't get that sort of comic?
