I really liked when Tobey Maquire's character gave the narration about life and death. Anyone else think it was interesting? I was surprised that it hasn't been brought up on this board.

I just saw the movie, couldn't get into it but it had it's moments and I'm glad you brought that up because it WAS interesting and one of the most intense parts to the movie.

Even though the book doesn't have any quotation marks, and no direct dialog, this inner monologue comes comes from book.
