toward the end of the movie when they left the house, when she and the other guy get in to the car and they kiss, did they also have sex?

Yes, they had sex, though he came almost immediately, and apologized. He might not have actually penetrated, but I assumed by their behavior that he had.

They have sex then he says "that was awful". I thought he was apologizing for how quick it was but she interpreteds it to be he was talking about having sex with her in the first place. But they definetly did.
