What the f kinda name is Libbets, anyway?

This was asked twice in the film, with no answer. It's a pretty bizarre name - why not go by Libby?

I asked the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

I thought it might be a nickname for Elizabeth. Like maybe she had a younger sibling who couldn't pronounce her name properly and pronounced it "Libbets" and then it kind of stuck. I know a few people who got their nicknames in just such a way.
