shareI usually do. I first got into it during a rare tv broadcast around Thanksgiving 09. It was the scene where Sandy blew up hos toys and then Mikey and Wendy were watching TV. Something about the atmosphere of the movie had me instantly hooked before I even knew what the movie was about. Since then I usually do watch it sometime around the holidays since it has that feel. This movie really makes me want to smoke a bong in a dorm with mu roommate and arrend parties where every.single person smokes a cigarette and drinks a glass of wine at the same time.

Imagine if a network aired it in a 24 hour marathon on Thanksgiving (or the day after) like they do with A Christmas Story on Christmas?
I watch it sometimes around Thanksgiving, but admit that I play it sometimes if there is a big cold weather storm brewing outside. I rarely watch it during the summer but did the year it came out on blu ray.
I think IFC should do that.
