Music marvelous but.....?

IMDB lists individual tunes and composers BUT there IS a recurring theme. Who wrote it?
It comes up when Redford says to KST..."I never expected to feel this way" and many other moments in a variety of orchestrations. Sounds perhaps like Thomas Newman.
A LITTLE HELP PLEASE ?

Yes. The original score is by Thomas Newman. You can buy it, I would highly recommend it!

I thought the music was as romantic and sad. It help me concentrate on the tragedy of the relationships instead of the reality of them, a damaged horse and her rider, a woman wishing for more, her infidelity. The music kept me from judging her too harshly, kept my focus on what was lost and found by all.

If we can save humanity, we become the caretakers of the world

I bought this soundtrack many years ago, one of the best purchases ever made and I'm listening on my iPod right now as it helps me with my anxiety and depression. A lot of Thomas Newman's scores are fabulous but this is so soothing to the soul and beautiful and peaceful and a treat to the ears. Everyone should have at least one listen of this soundtrack. I think my fav might be "your misfortune (none of my own)". Played when Pilgrim had been forcefully laid down and grace has climbed on soothing him ready to get him up and going again. The violins/cellos are so mysterious and ethereal and the melodies so delicious.
If you haven't got this soundtrack I implore you GET IT!! You won't be sorry :)
