Unfunny, Bad Acting, and Way Too Unbelivable

These movies were always a bit far fetched with their plots, but this one takes it to a whole new level with the russian terrorist bad guys. Doing this without Caulkin was a terrible idea. The new kid looks waayyyy too young for the part and is a horrible actor and all the gags feel like they were recycled from the previous movies and traps were really uncreatvie compared to the last two. On top of that, it doesn't even feel like Christmas at all in this one which is a staple of the Home Alone movies! I have't seen either of the supposedly god awful 4 and 5, but at least those ones tried to keep the theme of Christmas.

There was at least one new thing in the third movie. There was a female terrorist, Alice, who suffered through pitfalls and traps just like the male terrorists. That was new!

Plus Alice was a gorgeous woman who was also funny as hell.

At least the mom in this movie is a lot nicer and caring than Kevin's bitchy mom in the original film.

She was! She naively sides with Buzz, and punishes Kevin. Then she had the audacity to blame hotel employees (although they were airheads) for Kevin's disapearence, when SHE was the one not watching her own son.

that is what make the kate character better.

she realise how much mistake she made at end and you see her travel alone to get back. she feel bad for mistreat kevin and leave him alone. her character have development and arc. you do not see this in this film.

catherine o'hara is also much better actor.
