The villiains were...

...poster boys and girl.

I mean Wow...

Although relative unknowns, their looks immediately caught your attention in a way that Joe Pesci and his partner failed to do in the first 2 HA movies.

And no bumbling antics (except towards the end) from these guys, they gave the impression of being very professional and they had style!

Harry and Marv from the first two movies were intellectually challenged. Mr. Beaupre and his two henchmen and one henchwoman were smarter and intellectually and technically inclined in this movie. Of course Alex was smart too and just like Kevin in the first two HA movies, Alex was able to stop the bad guys (and gal) via a bunch of booby traps and was the winner in the end. The four professionals were smarter until they met Alex, then they suddenly seemed a little bit more like Harry and Marv, falling for the kid hero's booby traps. I also thought Mr. Jernigan was a little bit on the slow side in the scene during the middle of the movie when the crooks are chasing after the toy car and he's driving the minivan and is trying to make contact with Mr. Unger and he accidentally hits Mr. Unger with the minivan when Mr. Unger walks out into the street, and Mr. Jernigan doesn't stop right away, instead he drives for a few more seconds and he's kind of in a daze or shock about what just happened, in fact, Jernigan doesn't stop the minivan until Unger says "Stop, you nitwit." I think it was just shock in the afforementioned scene but any driver who gets into any kind of an accident would normally stop right away, right at the very split second the accident happened, not too much if any later than that.
