Considering it's crappy competition, this is easily the best HOME ALONE in the series. Not such a high praise, though.

Well some ppl have different tastes than others jeez...Yea Home Alone 1 was THE COOLEST and the best in the series but I actually like 3 way better than 2...to me 2 was a waste of time...although nothing comprehends to home alone 4 which was the most *beep* movie ever made on the face of the EARTH!!!

I like the 2nd best for having the thing that made me laugh really hard(now get on your knees and tell me ya' love me, I l-l-love you. Yo gotta do better than that! I LOVE YOU!!!) and because the talk between kevin and the pigeon lady made me teary eyed back in '95 (i was 9) knowing that there can never be another home alone movie because macaulay culkin is now grown up, a drug addict, and in crap movies like sex and breakfast.
The first one didn't make me emotional but it was funny and it is the origin of this franchise.
The third i didn't finish because i was p i s s e d off that culkin wasn't there so i didn't watch it till the end. I made the biggest mistake of my entire life... I WATCHED HA4 FIRST.
It was terrahorrible, horraterrible, IT WAS COMPLETE AND UTTER $#!T.
So I gave 3 a chance and I liked it so...
favorite: Lost in new york
2nd: 1 and 3 are tied but one leads by a smidget
